The challenge
Renting a home involved more than twenty steps across listing portals, agents, screening services and paper leases. Renters re-entered the same application for every property; landlords juggled disconnected tools for listings, screening and lease management.
Tours needed staff physically on site, and identity checks, credit checks and signatures all lived on paper. Both sides were operating blind, with no analytics or transparency anywhere in the journey.
Our approach
We designed one continuous journey: unified search and listings, self-service property tours through smart-lock integration, and instant offers the moment a renter decides.
A reusable applicant profile carries integrated background and credit screening, so renters apply once and landlords see verified applicants immediately.
Leases generate and sign electronically, deposits collect electronically, and the platform was architected for enterprise volume from day one. React and TypeScript with .NET and Node services on AWS.
